Subways in the Movies

There is a famous "chase" scene, which has Hackman driving a car, recklessly weaving through traffic, following a French sniper, which had intentions to kill Hackman’s character. This sniper hijacked an R42 N train at the 25th Ave station in Brooklyn, but in the end Hackman got his man.

In the movie Money Train, Wesley Snipes and a former cop have hijacked the titled money train. While sending the train to it maximum speed to break through a brick wall police barrier, the breaks were worn out and inoperable making it impossible to stop the train. The result, a passenger train in front of the money train was wrecked and the money train derailed causing major damages to the tunnel.
