The 1966 Caneyville High School Graduating class will be spotlighted at the Caneyville Alumni association annual meeting on April 21, 2001 at the Caneyville School. Clarkson High School

The Clarkson High School Alumni banquet is April 14, 2001 at Clarkson Elementary School. Leitchfield High School

The Leitchfield High School Alumni Association will be holding their Alumni Meeting and Dinner on Saturday night, June 30th. The social hour will begin at 5:30 with the dinner to follow at 7:00. It will be held at the Church of Joy, next to the Lawler Elementary School, on School House Road. John Hill Taylor…a former teacher, coach and principal at Leitchfield High School…will be the guest speaker.

1975

The Class of 1975 Reunion was held on  Sept. 2 at Lakeview Country Club. This included golfing, and music from records??  There were 60-70 in attendance and everyone had a great time.

1976

The Grayson County High School Class of 1976 will have their 25th reunion celebration on Saturday, November 10, 2001 from 6:00-11:00 p.m. at the Church of Joy Family Life Center,  Call Rhonda at 230-8031 or Sheila at 879-9663 after 5:00 p.m. -from the Grayson County News-Gazette October 1, 2001

1977

Grayson County High School Class of 1977 will have their 25th reunion celebration at Rough River State Lodge on July 13th. Our first meeting to help get organized is April 14 at 4pm in the offices of Goff and Goff on the Square. 

1979

The GCHS Class of 1979 held its 20-year reunion July 3 at the Grayson County Middle School.  Awards included: Most Changed Female, Jane Davis; Most Changed Male, Kenton Powell; Least Changed Female, Teresa Joyce; Least Changed Male, Ronald Carnes; Most Grey Hair, Teresa Martin Seelhorst and Sammy Boone; Least Hair, Kenton Powell; Longest Married (20 years) Paul and Barbie Decker Newton; Most Children, Layman Dennis; Most Grandchildren, Robin Ferguson Bohannan; and Farthest Traveled, Ronald Decker, Florida.  Laughter and memories were shared with old friends and the class is looking forward to the 25-year mark.  Click HERE for a picture from the event.  --.  If you would like to contribute memories  to the report on the reunion, post them on the Message Board or if you have pictures to add, send them to the web administrator . 1980

The 20 year class reunion for the GCHS Class of 1980 was on Saturday, June 17th at Rough River State Park.

Awards included -Grayest Hair- Doug Thompson Changed the most- Barbara Geary Hawkins  Changed the least -Dee Dee Alvey Johnston  Most Kids- Terry Armstrong   Married the longest "Cricket" Harris Thompson  Most Hair Lost- Mark Stanton  Traveled the Farthest-Glenn Miller He traveled from San Diego CA  around 2300 hundred miles.

We had  total of 93 Class mates attending  total of class mates and guest was 171  Good times was shared by all lots of memories to take home , where looking forward to the 25 yr. mark to share memories again .

1981

The GCHS Class of 1981 Twenty-year reunion was held on Saturday, August 11, 2001 in the Breckinridge/Grayson rooms of the Rough River State Park Lodge with approximately 100 alumni and guests in attendance. 

The reunion will began with a reception at 6:30pm followed by dinner at 7:30 and dancing/socializing from 8:30 to nearly 1 AM!. The delicious meal was served by the catering staff of the park and included salad, chicken, ham and roast beef, vegetables, desserts and beverages. 

Our reunion was planned to be an event for adults only and everyone seemed to have a great time.  

Paul Witten of Quality Photographic Images (QPI) took a group photo and can be purchased at QPI in Leitchfield for $5.

The awards were given for the following: 

Traveled Farthest : Darlene Cockriel Higdon from Arizona, Followed by Keith Etter who came in from Austin, Texas.  The gift was something she cannot get all the way out west!

Most Kids: Tim and Darlene Cockriel Higdon: 6

Married the Longest: Darrel and Georgia Lindsey Decker 20 years in July Followed by Ted and Mylissa Torrance 20 years September)

Changed the Most: Dennis Strasburger.

Changed the Least: Melanie Alvey (all in a good way Mel!)

1989

The GCHS graduating class of 1989 will have a 10-year reunion on Friday evening, August 13, 1999 in the Grayson and Breckinridge rooms at Rough River Dam State Resort Park.  The reunion will begin with a reception at 6:30pm followed by dinner at 7:30 and dancing/socializing from 8:30 to 12:30am. The meal will be served by the catering staff of the park and will include salad, a variety of meats, vegetables, desserts and beverages. Entertainment will be provided by R & B Productions. The reunion has been planned to be an event for adults only, but should be a casual event. Please dress the way you feel most comfortable. Tickets to the reunion will be $25.00 single and $45.00 per couple. Registration and full payment must be received before July 9, 1999. Payment or registration at the door will not be accepted. The GCHS graduating class of 1991's 10-year reunion was held on Saturday evening August 4, 2001 in the Grayson & Breckinridge rooms at Rough River Dam State Resort park.

The following awards were given...

Traveled the Farthest - Angela Link Briscoe (from Lake Jackson, TX) 

Most Children - Candi Williams Boehmer (6 children)

1992

The reunion will be held in the Grayson and Breckinridge Rooms beginning at 6:30 p.m. (and ending at approximately 12:30a.m.) Dinner will be at about 7:30 p.m. with the catering staff of the park serving a variety of meats, vegetables, salad, desserts, and beverages. 

Entertainment will be provided by R&B Productions. The reunion has been planned to be an event for adults only. Dress should be dressy/semi-formal, but feel free to wear what's comfortable. 

Tickets will be $30 single and $50 per couple. Registration and full payment must be received by July 5th, 2002. Payment or registration at the door will not be accepted. 

A registration form will be sent out in March. If you do not (or did not) receive one, please contact Jessica (Higdon) Whittaker at the number below.

1996
