The Famous Ray Story....Short And Sweet

Famous Ray, like most bands, have had some ups and downs. They first started as a group of friends playing around, and eventually started to write songs and learn some covers. In 1996, the guys started to get more into thier music and started to play at parties. At that time the band was comprised of the following: Raymond-guitar, Trav-guitar, Shelby-guitar, Ryan-bass, Trini-drums, and Rob on vocals. By the end of 1997 Trini and Ryan left the band because of personal reasons. They quickly found a new drummer in Rays step brother Brian Rush. Finding a bassist, however, would not be easy.

After a while of trying to fill the position at bass, the decision was made to get a bass and switch on and off, depending on the song, between the guitar players. This worked well for the group concidering haveing three guitarists playing at once was a little odd. By mid 1998 the roles were set, and the guys began to play local bars as well as record music. That brings us to today and the debut CD "Incognito" will be available very soon. Sadly enough however, Shelby will be in Texas for the next 6 months.....but don't worry, the show will go on.
