![]() The Department of Electrical Engineering at the Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad has a history of 40 years and has highly experienced staff. The Department also has well equipped laboratories, computing facilities and special equipments used for high voltage testing. The Department offers a unique undergraduate course (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics and Power and also runs a part-time undergraduate course (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics and Power and part-time post-graduate course (M.E.) in Power Systems. The part-time undergraduate course leading to Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Power Engineering was begun with an intake of 30 students. The part-time M.E. course was begun in the year 1986 with an intake of 10 students. The courses are structured
to cater to the present needs of the industrial world. Besides basic and
mandatory courses in Electrical Engineering, the syllabus gives wide exposure
to various courses in Electronics, Computers and Instrumentation. Various
activities of the students are promoted by the department. The departmental
student association is named EESA (Electrical Engineering Students Association).
