![]() So you want to know about me, eh? Well, lemme see... where to begin...? Well, my name is Geoffrey Pan. I live in Madison, WI. I've lived here all my life. I went to Madison West High School. Now, I'm a sophomore here at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I lived in Bradley "Learning Community". Yeah learning community my ass. Nice people though. I love my floor. The people on my floor were absolutely awesome. But Bradley's just another way for the UW to make money. Like SOAR. But anyhoo... If you can't tell, I'm not too happy that I'm here at the UW. Don't get me wrong-- it's not a bad school per se. In Madison, we like to say that it's a great school for people who don't live in Madison. But hey it's cheap. And it's a decent education. So I guess I'll have to live with it. This year, I'm living in a house with my friends Angela and Cassie. Yes, they are girls. And, yes, I am a guy. And, no, it's not like that you sicko. :-)
So what else
(straight liz)? How about what I'm like? Well, I used to be smart. I used to be really smart. I think I'm still pretty smart, but I have gotten so incredibly lazy. I'll admit it. But I still like doing things that I like to do or things that are a challenge to me (like this web site). What else? People say I'm a nice guy. In fact, that's all I've ever heard in my life--"Oh Geoff! You're such a nice guy!" or "You're a sweetie!" But that is often followed by: "But I think we should be friends" or "But I don't like you like that" *sigh* and such is my life. :-) But seriously, I think that I'm a pretty nice guy. I'm always there for my friends. I love my friends. We've shared so many great times. Check them out.
I also love my family. I don't know what to say about them. All my relatives live in Cali while we live here in good ol' Wisconsin. They think that we're weird for living here. Oh well. I love them a lot. I don't get to see them much though. :-( So this is my tribute to them. Click here to see pictures of my family.
I suppose you would want to know my likes and dislikes so you can see if we have anything in common. We probably do. Actually, I'm What else??? Think, think, think! How about other things that
Hmmm... I suppose you might want to know the general stuff I like. You know, the stuff that we did in like 3rd grade: favorite food, favorite color, favorite movie... yada yada yada, blah blah blah... Well I love good food. Don't really have a favorite. I'm kinda partial
Moving on... I'm running out of things that you would possibly want to know about me... Well I'm a taurus. My birthday is April 28 if you ever want to get me something. hehehe. hmm... oh! You're probably wondering what with the ducks, huh? I like ducks. You got a problem with that!?!?!?!? No. There's a story behind it, but I can't link the page to it because a certain someone might find it. So you get to find it! Good Luck!
Another interesting Geoff-ism is the word "anyhoo." I don't know why I use it. And I have no idea where it came from. But it bothers my friend Melissa so I don't think I'll ever stop using it. hehehe. Sorry Mel! Besides that, I don't think that I have any other "isms." My old roommate says that I talk in my sleep once in a while, but he snores a lot. So there! :-p
Well, just recently, I figured out what I want to do with my life. I want to be a pediatrician. I love kids. Kids are the greatest. And, I'd hate to sound corny but, kids are the future of this world. The oppotunity to be able to teach and work with kids has been such a blessing. It is probably the most rewarding thing I do. It's just... so great. There really is no way to explain it. And I love science. It's always been so interesting to me. And being a pediatrician, I figure I can make a change/have an affect on someone's life -- sorta pass on stuff I've learned through life. I dunno. This is what I'm thinking. I feel that I really want to do this, but honestly I'm scared. It's going to be a long hard journey and I don't know if i'm up to it. I need to work my butt off. No more screwing around. *sigh*
So this is me. Well... at least for now. I will write more when I get a chance... thank you for visiting. feel free to roam around.
