Vortigern
Studies
This primary part of the site
concentrates on the history, historicity and and
associated aspects of Vortigern and his age. This
includes a look at the sources (whether legendary
or contemporary historical), geneaology,
linguistics and all later spin-oofs, such as
literature, art and archaeology. Now more than
200 pages! Fectio
- Late Roman Re-enactment
Fectio
is our Dutch Late Roman Re-enactment Society. We
focus on the military part of Late Roman society
during the 4th to 5th century. Our area is the
Western Empire, especially in the Lower German
and British provinces. The name Fectio
is taken from the Limes fortress on the Dutch
Lower Rhine frontier, today know as Vechten. More
than 100 pages now.
Wansdyke
Project 21
This
secondary part is dedicated to the mysterious
earthwork that spans the Marlborough Downs from
Savernake Forest to the Avon below Bristol. The
origins of this earthwork present vital clues to
Vortigern and his times. the object of this
project is to promote the awareness about this
unique British monument. Now more than 100 pages!
Faces
of Arthur
This part is not strictly a part of Vortigern
Studies, but should attract the Arthurian
enthousiast. It holds dozens of Arthurian
articles, as well as a book on Dark Age Britain.
Not to mention my Arthurian Collection with over
400 Arthurian Novels, Comics, Movies, CD's,
Games, Swords and Artwork. More than 200 pages.
Philene
The holiday home owned and run by my wife's
parents, a small spot of Walcheren, one of the
islands of the province of Zeeland, where we
retire to as often as posible. Close to the North
Sea, but also close to the town of Middelburg as
well - nature and culture close at hand. This is
the website we use for the rental of that house.
OokZoGevoelig
My wife's website about High Sensitivity. This is
no New Age stuff, but a down-to-earth explanation
about this ability which occurs in up to 20% of
all human beings.
