I was born in Cospicua and lived there until June 11th, 1940 when our house was damaged during the first air raid. Moved to Hamrun and after the war moved to Kalkara. Emigrated to Canada in 1948. Enjoyed seeing your pictures and information on Bormla. t brought back many memories. Well done. Keep up the good work.

Great site. I have many fond memories of Malta. Spent some time there in the 60s and 70s while with the Navy. Wonder whatever happened to Sandie and Bridget Monroe (Munro)?? Lived in Cospicua St. Visited a friend in Birzebbuga in June and had a wonderful time. Hope to get out there again in the near future.

To all those who still love Bormla wherever they are. Our club St.George's will this year be celebrating its 110th year since its foundation. Although we considered this year as a transition period, whilst building a new young team and at the same time p tting our house in order administratively and financially, we have succeded in reaching the final of the Trophy which will be played in Mid May. When I was in Malta in March 97, we visited the Church of Bormla and saw all those magnificent status, they are just marvellous, I also visited Ix-xena tal ross u Melh, and you were selling the video, which I bought. On the Sunday L-Irxoxt, we spend most of the morning at Bormla, I also videod the festa tal Irxoxt, what a marvellous feeling that was, one cannot describe, please keep up the good work, for it a great homepage, its a pity that one is so far away, for I would love to have purchased the Good F iday Video.
