Antique 9ct Shield Cufflinks with Dumbbells.

Weighing six grams of a slightly pink or 'rose' gold and stamped with the 9ct mark, these very nice Shield cufflinks have the initials 'HWG' to the face with a border of flower and leaves. The initials DO NOT distract from the overall design however and should be seen as an integral part of the Character if the item. Made around the 1920's-1930's these cufflinks are in very good condition being secured with dumbbells and chain links. We have seen these delightful items converted into Earrings leaving the dumbbells to drop, which look absolutely stunning and unusual. Antiques at this price? Remarkable....

15ct yellow gold 'Torpedo' drop cuff links.

The concave oval faces to these cuff links are engraved with the initials 'DM' ...or 'WC' if you look at them upside down. Whatever they are, they DO NOT detract from the overall scrollwork design. The faces measure approx 3/4 inch (2cms) and are secured with chain and 'Torpedo' drops so reminiscent of the 1940's 1950's, although being in 15ct may be a lot older. They weigh almost 9 grams and are in excellent condition. Would make a perfect gift.
