Terms Of Membership
    
      - All sites wishing to join The Canadian Genealogy Web Ring must read 
        and agree to the following terms of membership.
- All sites must contain content that is directly related to genealogical 
        research. It is also required that genealogy be the main theme of the 
        site.
- It is not necessary that members be Canadian, however the site must 
        contain Canadian content that is relevant to their family research in 
        Canada.
 Canadian families researching their ancestry are strongly encouraged to 
        apply!
- All sites must be family oriented and suitable for viewing by children.
 No profanity, nudity, racism, hatred, or links to adult content sites.
 Sites must be Non-Commercial personal home pages, Sites with any kind 
        of commercial emphasis will not be added to the ring.
- The appropriate HTML fragment code must be inserted on the applicant's 
        page within 7 days of submitting the application form and needs to be 
        functional before being add to the rotation of the ring.
- The complete HTML fragment code must be placed on the members page exactly 
        as instructed.
- The HTML fragment code must be placed on the same page as the link you 
        provide in your application. This url is spidered for the HTML fragment 
        code. Sites found not to have the fragment code of the page specified 
        will be removed from the ring.
- Members must download the logo of their choice and upload it to their 
        own web space. Linking directly to the logo on this serverr is NOT allowed; 
        sites that do this will be automatically removed and banned from the ring. 
        Download and save logo to your own server.
- You can find the logos here. You will also need 
        to edit the html fragment code to point to the correct path to where you 
        place to logo on your server.
- It is the members responsibility to Contact The RingMaster when the HTML 
        fragment code is functional and is ready to be added to the rotation of 
        the Ring.
    
- It is the members responsibility to Contact The RingMaster whenever the URL of their site changes. Failure to do so 
    may result in having the site deleted from the Ring.
- Sites failing to abide by the above guidelines will be removed from 
        the Ring at the discretion of the Ringmaster.
- These terms of membership are subject to change without notice.
- If at anytime a member feels that a Canadian Genealogy Web Ring site does 
    not meet up to these guidelines, please Contact RingMaster.
