PROM, one of the biggest nights in any high schooler's life, fufilled all of my already high expectations. Even though the day did not go as smooth as I had hoped, everything still fell into place. I was slightly de-moralized by the recent events leading up to prom, but I realized that I was not gonna let that hang me up. The day in review...

PART 1: SCHOOL + BUS
I got home from lunch with my relatives at like 2:15. Then at like 2:30 i went to ball with david, mike wang and alex before prom because that is basically how the gangstas roll. good times with the 21. Ne ways, I got home and was ready to leave at around 4. My parents wanted to take a few pictures with me before I left so they did that. Took off to school to get triad group picture. I was greeted warmly by the fellow members and we proceeded to take the pics minus JT $$ and Sphinx. Then I waited at school for Steph to call me to go pick her up; met up with people coming to take pictures. Everyone looked sick in their formal and gangsta attire and it was good to see everyone ready to have some fun. Steph calls and tells me she'll be running late so she'll just come with Cindy when shes done. I mope around some more and she finally comes at around 5? I can't remember the time. We take our pictures and were about to take our group ones but it was already time for us to load on the bus. Mr. White kicks all of us to the busses. During the bus ride, there were lots of good times with david, mike and ryan. I especially liked yelling towards the front of the bus where Shabbie was sitting. I think i owned her like 3 times in front of the whole bus. hahah that was good times. THATS RIGHT WOMAN! THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR A TONGUE PIERCING!

PART 2: DINNER + DANCE
First of all, I thought the dance was way too short. I wanted it to go on for another hour or so. It was just leet. Anyways, it took me and Steph a while to find a place to eat. Eventually all of us got together and sat down in a table. It was quite nice; chicken whatever and like some ravioli stuff along with fruits, salad and some very nice rice pilaf. After dinner, it was time for me, ryan and stephen's "dont mess" picture. We took a few to ensure the leetness. Afterwards we just got dancing. Best part was when me, stephen and jeff liu went to the second deck and started raving. We took the candles and started doing dumb stuff to Sandstorm. The outside air provided a good break whenever I needed one. I could look outside at the great skyline and cool off. The hip hop dance floor was crazy...so little space and so many people. It was real fun though, singin along to all the songs as they were being played. Just an awesome time. The boat rocked occasionally but overall everything was still good.

PART 3: BUS RIDE BACK + AFTER PROM
The bus ride was a lot less exciting than the ride there, as most people were tired and decided to take naps. I was pretty tired myself so i mainly just sat and didn't talk although i didn't sleep. Don't like to sleep for like 40 minutes and then wake up. I usually end up more tired. Anyways we got back to school at like 1:30 ish and then we all headed to Nancy's. We chilled there for the rest of the night, with lots of other people showing up. Me and the jeffs played Smash Brothers and other N64 games into the late hours of the night while others just chatted or watched movies. It was a nice and chill way to end prom. I went home at like 6:00 AM and slept till like 3 in the afternoon.

OVERALL: 9/10. This thing really did live up to all the hype. Everyone looked slick (stephen in the black zoot suit and being leet with me; jon's chi pao dress cat; emile's slick white tux; alex's similar white tux; and lots of pretty girls! YUMM!) and despite the prior week, i wouldn't have taken it any other way. Thank you Stephanie for being an awesome date. Sorry i wasn't with you for a part of the dance...i was walking around trying to look for you! Guess i should have stayed in one place. Good memories of prom; thanks to all those that contribued, especially my awesome friends and my super sexy date. (btw, steph, the glitter DID scratch me a few times, but it wasn't life threatening like i thought it was gonna be). Prom is highly recommended. CHEERS~
