Summary: Draco is rebelling against something, he's just not sure what, or who. And he's not wearing leather, though he might be eating it. Possible squicks include flab, war, overeating, and coffin sex.
Comment: I've never seen a Draco like this before. Chances are, no one but Aja wrote a Draco like this before.
- Double Dare (PG) by Silvia Kundera
Summary: Draco is a self-satisfied little bastard. Harry is ridiculously tolerant and an awful judge of character. Boys are stubborn. It's just like the books, except much shorter and gayer!
Comment: Priceless! Draco here is just priceless. One has to love Silvia's humor.
- Dragonweed (R) by Penguin
Summary: The mind can create a Heaven of Hell and a Hell of Heaven. Draco and Harry had definitely not planned to fall in love, but their love is stronger than either of them expected.
Comment: It's hard to describe a fic that produces a scale of emotions. Penguin's H/D is lovely, almost innocent, and quite unforgettable. I got goosebumps when I finished reading the story.
- Facade (R) by Malfoi
Summary: Alternate Universe. Pride and Prejudice meets Harry Potter. Harry and Draco develop a relationship in Jane Austen inspired Regency England.
Comment: A very well-written AU fic which I just love. Malfoi doesn't update often these days but even if the story is a WiP, it sure is a delight to read.
- Irresistible Poison (PG-13) by Rhysenn
Summary: Under the influence of a love potion, Draco learns that poison doesn't always bring death -- there are
other ways to suffer and live. Chemical emotion runs feverish as Harry and Draco discover the intoxication of love.
Comment: Talk about classic. This fic is a must-read for every H/D fan. And just about every H/D fan has read this lovely piece by Rhysenn. It has everything: fluff, angst, and good old-fashioned romance--the kind that tends to set one floating above the keyboard.
- Golden Snitch, The (R) by Michael Serpent
Summary: Harry and Draco trying to get the upper hand of each other, mentally and physically. Some roughness and some tenderness. And some weirdness... And Voldemort drinking mint tea.
Comment: I stumbled on this fic nearly a year ago and haven't regretted it. A funny and sweet long fic.
- Kissing Harry Potter (PG-13) by Aja
Summary: Draco is That Way -- or is he? --and Harry is Crazy; the Hufflepuffs have steak knives, and Morag is a boy. Written in homage to Potterstinks, with much, much love and respect.
Comment: ...because kissing Harry is just... magic.
- Letters in French (NC-17) by Nika [new]
Summary: A notebook in which Draco has composed a series of incredibly personal and revealing letters to his father, most of which detail Draco's increasing sexual desire for one Harry Potter, goes missing, only to fall into the hands of the very person Draco fears most: Harry Potter.
Comment: I found this through Livejournal while browsing randomly. A touching fic in the classic H/D sense.
- Monsoon Season (R) by Aja
Summary: The rain is incessant. As Harry's patience with the weather runs out, so does his acceptance of his friendship with Draco Malfoy. Harry/Draco, Draco/Hermione, subtext, tension, frazzled nerves, and water, water, everywhere.
Comment: Just when you think Aja has turned her back on slash and wrote het, this story will surprise you. It's touching, with a smooth, flowing style that goes straight to the heart. *blows on tissue*
- Park Bench, The (PG) by Plumeria
Summary: A third person POV fic. Harry and Draco's relationship seen from the eyes of a gardener.
Comment: No one is immune from this fic! I should know... I barely survived. *cries gallons*
- Possession, Obsession, and Mine (PG-13 to NC-17) by Zed Adams
Summary: Testing the boundaries of one's obsession could bring surprising knowledge.
Comment: Three fics in a series. Draco here is darker than in most fics, and the relationship between him and Harry is so intense, it's almost scary.
- Protective Bonds (R) by Sadie Dragonfire
Summary: Hermione discovers a book with an interesting protection spell...and the results are shocking to say the least.
Comment: Because Harry and Draco just have to stay together. Literally. >D
- Rituals and Traditions (NC-17) by Amanuensis
Summary: Draco shackled to a pillar. Harry wielding a sword. One goofy plot device. You do the math.
Comment: Amanuensis exceeded all expectations in this story. I couldn't keep a straight face, even while Harry was explaining everything so matter-of-factly. Ahh... lucky Draco.
- Still Life (Pg-13) by Amalin
Summary: The portraits at Hogwarts always seemed happy. Harry wonders if he is the only one with such an annoyance at being half there after his body has gone.
Comment: The kind of fic to read when one is in a serene mood. The story doesn't stop at the ending, it insists on invading your thoughts. The prose is beautiful, as only Amalin could write.

Summary: Draco and the world. Not the best possible of relationships: parents, teachers, friends and hopefully a lover.
Comment: Olympia has written a real keeper with this series. There's so much love in this fic, and she seems to do it so effortlessly. I could say a lot, but they'd all be praises. :)

Summary: For Harry and Draco, the dawn is long in coming.
Comment: Oh dear, it's happening again. One of those "Just read it" moments. A convo like this between Harry and Draco would be very hard to miss.
- Twelve Days of Christmas, The (R) by Starkiller
Summary: The very secret diaries of several characters we all know and love.
Comment: Read, laugh, and be merry.
- Two Lost Souls (PG-13) by Amalin
Summary: "...we're just two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl, year after year..." Incoherence, parentheses, and Draco. Season ficlet in parts.
Comment: This story reads like a dream. It's hard to say which feeling manifested itself more: the hurt or the love? Maybe both. Perfectly written, and one of the best H/D's out there.
- Unthinkable Thoughts (R) by Aidan Lynch
Summary: This tale sees our two heroes face up to their biggest issue yet, and a great deal hinges on how they cope...
Comment: This was the first well-written slash fic I've ever read, and I was amazed at the story that Aidan Lynch has made for us slashers. Harry and Draco just realized that the only ones who could save them would be each other.
- Worst Happiest Day of His Life, The (Hard R) by Amanuensis
Summary: "We have to WHAT?"
Comment: I re-read this story to celebrate Easter. *grin* And it sure was even better the second time around! *loves* Just hold on to something tight before you read this fic.
Harry/Voldemort or Harry /Tom
- A Spot (PG-13) by Midnight
Summary: There were no windows. He was caged.
Comment: I'm sure I haven't told her enough, but I love the way Mid writes. In this haunting drabble (the first in the collection in the page), she manages to convey Harry's emotions in such a few words.
- Ashes to Ashes (NC-17) by Secret Weapon
Summary: COMPLETED A year after Harry graduates from Hogwarts and the Light's last stand against the Dark is near. A curse goes wrong that, though it does win them the War, leaves serious repercussions for everyone.
Commentary: I don't what it is about these two, but every time Harry falls for Voldemort (and vice versa), I get fluff attacks. *combusts in excitement* Secret has written a very entertaining account of the war in the future, and this fic is one that I highly rec.
- Bound (R) by Calliopiea
Summary: Harry Potter finds out that he's been bound to someone for life . . .
Comment: This is one of the stories that a solid HxV fan must read--certainly it's one of the first ever posted and Calli has done a great job of setting standards for this section of the fandom. I think (I could be wrong) that this one is the original "bound" fic. Quite angsty, with a gorgeous Voldemort. *yum*
- Breeze, The (Hard R) by Anukk
Summary: Voldemort finds that he and Harry are more connected than he thought.
Comment: All right... *grins* I wrote half of this. But you have to read the first part that Anukk wrote--which inspired me to continue it in the first place. Hot mind-sex.
- Choosing Loyalties (R) by Ntamara
Summary: Ten minutes before Hagrid arrives to tell Harry of his wizarding parentage and destiny, Harry is kidnapped by a Voldemort controlled Quirrell while Peter Pettigrew casts a doppelganger spell and takes Harry’s place. HPSS, SSLV, others implied.
Comment: What if Harry didn't go to Hogwarts when he was eleven? This fic is an answer to that big "what if", and Ntamara's well-crafted version is one that I particularly like. This fic is a different kind of HxT (a whole new kind of HP to be exact), with a lot of Snarry mixed in.

Summary: AU; Just another day at the office.
Comment: Who can resist this fic? Coffee, work issues--this fic has stuff your office probably lacks.

Comments: This is my favorite fic by Heath. Probably because it's so touching and sad at the same time.
- From the Rose Comes the Thorn (R) by Calliopiea
Summary: Here, Voldemort and Harry starts to get closer as Harry finally accepts his fate.
Commentary: The sequel to Bound. If you thought Bound was sexy, wait 'til you read this. :)
- Go Gentle (PG-13) by Kenna Hijja
Summary: A mortal enemy lures Harry into a deadly trap, with nothing more than a battered old diary...
Comment: A dark love story, if one could call it that. Tom wants out of the diary, and he's not beyond making someone fall for him to get what he wants. One of the most striking HxT pieces I've ever read.
- Harry Potter and the Mai Tai of Doom (PG-13) by Sushi
Summary: Harry badly needed a vacation. Guess who he meets in Hawaii?
Comment: My love for this fic knows no bounds. Here, Voldemort can be Voldemort--on vacation, of course. ^^
- Lest You are My Enemy (NC-17) by Maeglin Yedi

Comment: *swallows* Oh "teH smut"!! *faints*
- Prince in a Rose Bower (R) by Yxonomei
Summary: We thought magic was forever. We were wrong.
Comment: There's one word to describe this story: Beautiful. Yxonomei's imagery is so rich, I could almost see myself beside them in the Tower. A very unique take on HxT.
- Ribbons and Lace (R) by Miss Ayanami
Summary: Harry loses a bet, his pride, and his dignity. All in time for a scheduled, if clandestine, duel with Lord Voldemort.
Comment: A very funny and very cute cross-dressing fic. Have you ever tried dueling in a dress?
- Secret Keepers (PG-13) by Kenna Hijja
Summary: A detention task sends Harry out into the Forbidden Forest, where he gets lost in the mist and encounters a mysterious stranger with dark designs and a terrible secret.
Comment: Pre-slash, almost. Harry's first conversation with a young Tom Riddle is fascinating--almost as fascinating as the Tom that Hijja has created. And this wonderful story was written for me! Yay! >:D<
- Space Between, The (Hard R) by Maizeysugah
Summary: Harry Potter falls into a trap set by Dumbledore to capture Voldemort forever. Now he and Voldemort must learn to live together in a magical old house, but without the use of magic themselves.
Comment: I love almost everything Maizeysugah writes (almost because I haven't read her more bizarre fics yet *grin*). This is no exception. The real star in this fic is Voldemort--a very, very addictive Voldemort.
- Sweet Surrender (R) by Lantana
Summary: Harry's playing a little hard to get.
Comment: Non-con, in a way. Voldemort is devious, and I just love the way he gets Harry to "agree". One of the rare mpreg fics I like.
- Szajha (R) by Calliopiea
Summary: Voldemort defeats Harry Potter and takes the boy into his service.
Comment: Artistic plot and beautiful writing. Calliopiea has deviated from her style at Bound and wrote a story so unique that she deserves her own legions of fangirls (which she has *waves Calli flag*). This is Harry/Voldemort with a lot of Harry/Snape, too.
- Yes (R) by November Snow
Summary: Evil is seductive.
Comment: Exactly the kind of HxT that I fall for, and I've fallen hard for this fic. I have a sneaking feeling that it's exactly what Harry feels for Tom.

Summary: Sometimes, it's easier to talk to a stranger than to a friend.
Comment: This was originally recced to me by Sushi while I was searching for a bottom!Sev fic that still managed to make Sev look "top". I'll say this fic was sure worth the search. Flawless writing and wonderful characterization. (Not to mention the hot sex. *grin*)
- Dark Chocolate (NC-17) by Diannan
Summary: Snape takes Harry on as a seventh year apprentice...but it isn't what it seems.
Comment: Everyone and her grandmother has read this heart-wrenching fic by Di. If you haven't yet, click, my dear... click! I insist. This is Snarry with a soul. And I dare you to keep yourself from glomping Di after reading such a treasure.
- If That Mockingbird Won't Sing (NC-17) by Aspen
Summary: Snape, the headmaster of an all-boys Hogwarts, must deliver punishment to one who proves to be not-so-innocent.
Comment: I don't want to spoil the story so I'll keep my big mouth shut. But this fic sure awakened perversities in me I didn't even know existed. >D

Comment: Just as lovely and funny as Your Horoscope for Today.

Summary: Once upon a time, there was a boy named Harry Potter. He died...
Comment: *WAH* I've never read a Snarry that hurt as much as this one did. Which is funny, because this fic has its hilarious moments. But Sushi manages to wrangle the feelings out of any crabby person.

Summary: Very realistic sex. It's up to you if you take any of this seriously.
Comment: I seriously cracked up. No, really. Nothing is funnier than this.
- Welcome to My Nightmare (PG-13) by Sushi
Summary: It's New Year's Eve. The costumes are chosen, the karaoke machine is working, and Harry and Severus have more than their share of nightmares.
Comment: *dies in laughter* Any commentary would spoil this. I just need to say one thing before you read: Costume Party + Snape = ?. *dies again* (Since this is the fourth fic, let me just rec Sushi's whole site, hehehe.)
- White Chocolate (NC-17) by Diannan [new]
Summary: Harry’s been missing for six years. Where has he been? What mess did he leave behind, and has no choice but to return to? This is the sequel to Dark Chocolate, which you should read before this one, or White Chocolate won’t make any sense.
Comment: Read the one I wrote about Dark Chocolate. *points above* Then, read White Chocolate. :D

Summary: Snape's having a bad day. Maybe coffee will help. Or Harry. Or both.
Comment: I read this fic early in my fanfic reading days and I wasn't very keen on Snarry then. But Telanu's writing managed to convert me.

Warning: Practically all L/D fics are chan. I think every L/D fic I recced involves chan. I would assume you're responsible enough to bear the shock of incest and underage sex before clicking any of the recced fics. Please don't criticize the writers because of the theme. You were pre-warned.
- Irresistible (NC-17) by Anath de Malfoy
Summary: Lucius makes sure Draco will always be Daddy's little boy.
Commentary: Okay, I obviously love this pairing. But Anath writes the most scrumptious Lucius/Draco fics. And no doubt you'll find the rest of her fics just as irresistible.
- Praxis (R) by Switchknife
Summary: It is only just that one Malfoy should follow another, in all things.
Commentary: I stumbled on this treasure while browsing HPchan. It's an amazing story--not painless at all, mind--but very impressive and is well worth a read.
- Pureblood Absolution (NC-17) by Xandria
Summary: Lucius/Draco. PWP. Draco is punished by his father -- a little exposition on their special relationship. But who am I kidding -- it's just irredeemable smut, people.
Commentary: Ahh... the wonders of very well-written incest. Don't get me wrong, I don't approve of non-con incest. But Xandria can write such lovely smut anyone would be converted to shipping L/D.

Sequels: Sex, Drugs, and Death Eater Rock, Hey You
Summary: Ron/Draco. Ron's POV. Ron tells of how and why he wound up working for the Death Eaters. Lucius asks Ron for a favour, and life takes a turn for the truly bizarre.
Comment: Incredibly funny, sad at parts, but Icarus' fic won't be leaving you down for long. Ron is delectable, and so is Draco. Wasn't it just brilliant to bring them together?
- Everybody in the Room (PG-13) by Tavalya Ra
Summary: Sirius/Snape. Random insanity set after the events of "Love Potion HP." Mucking about in the kitchen, Harry Potter and Remus Lupin brew a weakened batch of Veritaserum and verbal chaos ensues when Severus Snape accidentally drinks a dose.
Comment: The sequel (sort of) to Love Potion HP. A hysterical one-shot that is a must-read. After you've read Love Potion HP of course.
- Je Te Plumerais (NC-17) by Nimori
Summary: Harry/Lucius. A caged bird will sing, if only to conserve his spirit.
Comment: Let me reveal a little secret... This is the fic that I love most among everything I've ever read. :)
- Love Potion HP (R) by Tavalya Ra
Summary: Sirius/Snape. Severus Snape and Sirius Black have always shared a strong mutual hatred, but never before have they been obsessed with each other. Whether it's love or lust, they're both disgusted by it. Someone's playing cupid, but is it fate, Dumbledore, or Voldemort?
Comment: I read this fic back in my early days in the fandom, and I haven't forgotten a bit of it until now. It features one of the most interesting pairings in HP--one that would most likely produce a lot of sparks. It's this fic that got me hooked to SB/SS (which is now AU thanks to book 5 *wah*).
- Narcissism (R) by Roses in the Snow
Summary: Draco/Draco. nar·cis·sism: love of or sexual desire for one's own body.
Comment: The first time I read this ficlet on LiveJournal, I instantly fell in love with it. It's a Draco wank!fic with a twist.

Summary: Harry/Sirius. Harry, Sirius, and a sun-warmed wooden floor.
Comment: I never really liked Harry/Sirius until I read this. Breathtaking, Nabokovian chanslash.

Comment: I liked this because, as morbid as it is, I liked the way Joy wrote Crabbe. Here, he isn't the extra thug we normally see in fics.

Comment: Holy...! Somehow, when I said any pairing, I didn't expect this. *loves Madam Malfoy* Brilliant and very very wild.

Summary: WARNING: NOBODY DIES AND SOMEONE TAKES A SHIT.
Comment: James/Sirius. *dies of laughter* Just read. As Lassiter says, the warning is quite sufficent.

Summary: Snape/Snape. Snape's new potion idea brings him the love of his life. But eventually, all good things must end.
Comment: No, you didn't read the pairing wrong. This has got to be the craziest Snape/Snape fic I've ever read. And the funniest, too.

Summary: Green Eggs and Ham parody. 'Nuff said. *Slash Warning* should be redundant, really.
Comment: *splits tummy laughing* 'Nuff said.

Summary: Draco/Blaise. Draco has a fierce and awkward obsession. Blaise has a family inheritance.
Comment: Because Blaise is a boy. (Yes, it's confirmed. *cheers*) And Bree writes lovely ficcies.

Summary: Sirius/Remus. Remus is one of those late-reaction kind of guys when it comes to extremely shocking and 'no-time-for-mourning-I've-got-work' news. Plotless, random, short ficlet.
Comment: If Jo sees this list, she's probably going to tell me that her story isn't slash. But when I read it, all I could see was slash everywhere! Hehe. But kidding aside, this is a very touching fic, and one couldn't help but feel for Remus as he thinks of Sirius. Just read between the lines.

Comment: The writing is perfect! Not to mention the incredible sexual tension in the story. Naughty Pansy. I'm now officially in love with Kickflaw.

Comment: *cough* I obviously have a love for het Weasleycest.
- So It Begins (NC-17) by Zed Adams
Summary: Lucius/Ginny. Voldemort and his Death Eaters have mounted an offensive on both the Muggle and wizarding world. This was what happened during their reign of terror. This was a spinoff from Starkiller's "For The Future POV" .
Comment: This is one of Zed's earlier fics. And I warn you, it's not gentle. It's an unmercifully brash and direct fic, complete with non-con, blood, rape, and chan.

- FanFiction.Net
The biggest fan fiction site on the net. Surfing here may take guts, as there are literally hundreds of thousands of fics. But there are a lot of good ones. Just dig deep.
- Fiction Alley
This must be the best known HP fic archive. With four houses to search fics in: Schnoogle, Riddikulus, The Dark Arts, and The Astronomy Tower. My favorite? Astronomy Tower of course!
- Forever Fandom
It's multi-fandom, with an easy uploading format. It also has a great feature which allows writers to respond directly to each review. I also love the slogan. :)
- Girl's Dormitory
The biggest femmeslash HP archive I've ever found. Lots of great femmeslashy fics to read.
- Imperio
A Harry/Draco archive.
- Ink-Stained Fingers
It's a bit of a challenge to search for fics, but there are lots of great fics here.
- Into Raspberry Swirl
A small but fabulous Femmeslash archive. Great fics. I'm not sure if they're still accepting submissions, though.
- Killing Green (site under construction)
Total Harry/Tom (Harry/Voldemort). The official website and fic archive of HxT Lightening.
- Malfoy Slash Archive
Slash fics involving the Malfoys: Lucius, Draco, and Narcissa.
- Noire Sensus: Gramarye
NS is multi-fandom, but I'm a big fan of Gramarye--its HP section.
- Potter Slash Archive
Slash fics involving the Potter boys: James and Harry. This archive is HUGE. Happy hunting!
- Restricted Section
Like AFF.net, this site is only for adults. *cough* And it's devoted solely to HP.
- Skyehawke
A multi-fandom writer's community. Fics are generally good as one can enter only by invitation or by mod's approval. Easy uploading and searching mechanism.
- Terror Unknown
This archive is not for the faint-hearted. It's multi-fandom and it features the squickiest fics ever written. Come, let's take a walk on the dark side.
- Unspeakable
This is the first one I've ever heard of. It's a slash archive exclusive to Harry/James. *grin* Go on and click, you know you want to.
