Roy and Dick          The Women          The Mentors          The Rugrat

The Guys

Roy Harper a.k.a. Arsenal... was raised among the Navajo, by a man named Brave Bow, after his father’s death in a fire. When Brave Bow realized that he was dying he put Roy into the Green Arrow-Oliver Queen’s path. He was the Green Arrow’s sidekick all during his adolescence, but their partnership was rocky at best. Ollie spent most of his time with his girlfriend Dinah Lance (the Black Canary) and his best friend Hal Jordan (the green Lantern.) Roy was left on his own and eventually turned to drugs. He got himself cleaned up, had a kid with an assassin, and rejoined the Titans. Needless to say, he has issues. He just wouldn’t admit to them.

Dick Grayson a.k.a. Nightwing... whose story everyone knows. Dick's aerialist parents were killed by Tony Zucco and he was taken in by Bruce Wayne, the Batman. He was Robin for ten years until a bullet wound in the shoulder made Batman force him into retirement. Dick created his own identity, Nightwing, and has gone through several costume changes and relationships since he came out of the Bat’s shadow. He currently leads the Titans (of which he is an original member) and lives in Bludhaven, fighting crime. While He still has issues with Bruce, Dick has come into his own as both a superhero and a man.

Donna Troy a.k.a. Troia... is one of the original members of the Teen Titans, Donna Troy has the most convoluted history in comics. She was a playmate created for Wonder Woman and was kidnapped in Wonder Woman’s place. She was forced to live a dozen lives that all ended tragically. In this life she married and had a son with Terry. They eventually divorced and Terry, his daughter, and their son were killed in a car accident. This was supposed to be the end of this life for Donna but when all knowledge of Donna’s life was erased Wally West (a.k.a. the Flash) was outside of time and remembered her. He ended up saving Donna but her memory and personality had to be reconstructed from his memories of her. She’s been spending the last few months trying to figure herself out and go past the outline and two-dimensional life that she was left with.

Jade a.k.a. Chesire... is Lian’s mother and Roy’s ex, she is an assassin that once obliterated an entire country. She is a part of the supervillain team, the Ravens and is currently serving time in prison for her crimes.

The Mentors

Oliver Queen a.k.a. The Green Arrow... was Roy’s mentor and surrogate father. He raised Roy after Brave Bow’s death and made Roy his sidekick, Speedy. He left Roy to his own devices quite often in order to go gallivanting with his girlfriend, Dinah Lance (the Black Canary) and his best friend, Hal Jordan (the Green Lantern.) He and Roy suffered a long rift due to this and Roy’s drug addiction. They eventually reconciled right before Ollie’s death. Ollie has one son, Connor Hawke, who took up the mantle of Green Arrow.

Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman... was very young Bruce Wayne’s parents were shot and killed in front of him. This tragedy changed Bruce and eventually led him to fight crime and protect Gotham City as Batman. He took Dick Grayson on as his sidekick, Robin, when he saw Dick’s parents die. They were partners for nearly ten years until Dick was shot by the Joker. Bruce freaked and forbade Dick from even donning the Robin costume again. After Dick became Nightwing, Bruce took on a new Robin, Jason Todd. Jason, while on a search for his mother, killed by the Joker. He was eventually replaced by Tim Drake, the current Robin.

Alfred Pennyworth... is Bruce Wayne’s butler and confidant, Alfred is one of the Dick’s most important mentors. Alfred mediates Bruce and Dick’s relationship and never fails to offer Dick advice on any and all of his relationships.
