Site History This site was created February 1st, 2001. At first it was called 'Cameron's Homepage' a name I thought slightly unoriginal, so I later changed it to 'Cam's Connection'. I recently celebrated its second anniversary. It started off as a website devoted mostly to Neopets, an online game I was obsessed with back then. Then I expanded it to book reviews, a section about my interests and gradually added content. The pace of growth was slow, a notable exception being the 'Briar's Fantasy Kingdom' area. A while ago I discovered fantasy author Tamora Pierce and loved her work. I decided to create a large section of the site dedicated to her books and characters. I often don't have time to update the site or spend much time on adding new pages, but every so often, like now, I'll sit down and do some serious work. When I first started making websites, I wasn't as meticulous about record keeping and statistics as I am now. As a result, earlier versions of my page have been lost. When I redesigned, I deleted the code. I don't know which version this is, but I estimate that it is the fifth. You can view what it looked like long ago here. The latest chapter of my site's history involves a domain name other than Geocities. I was going to move all the contents to a new server, with a simpler URL that was easier to remember and access, but found it not as easy as I thought. I have decided to keep my site here for now.
