In Australia feel free to contact: Mark Verhoeven102 The Rampart, Umina, New South
Wales, Australia
Mark Verhoeven is an extremely talented builder
of domes and other types of building. He first corresponded with me in
1981 as an an eighteen year old dome enthusiast. We corresponded for the
next fifteen years before we collaborated on the design and then the construction
of his dome home. In 1990 he came to Auckland to visit with me and to see
some of my domes. Since finishing his own dome, Mark has built two more
domes of my design, on the Central Coast, about 100km north of Sydney,
Australia. His own dome has been beautifully finished. I've stayed with
Mark, his wife Jody and two yearold daughter Indigo, on my visits to Australia.
Also in Australia is another dome builder of small domes: Rob Lusher![]() The Dome Company 47 Edward St.

information over the years. He has also been responsible for a number of
the photographs in this web site.
Also in Auckland, NZ, is another dome builder of small domes: ![]() ANVIL DESIGN GROUP 16 Botha Road Penrose, Auckland New Zealand Ph/Fax: 649-525-1871 Norman is an electrical design engineer who developed
his own system for building domes based on his proprietary extruded aluminium
section. I did the structural analysis and design for his own dome home,
which is shown in the picture. While this a dome, it is not a geodesic
dome. The strut lines do not follow great circles. I would call it a lattice
dome.
