Ambassadors for Peace in Richmond, Virginia
 Creating One Family Under God   Ambassadors for Peace representing the Universal Peace Federation (UPF)participated in the United Nations' International Day of Peace [Here, in Richmond, it is called "Family Peace Festival"] on September 21st, 2008, at the St. Joseph's Villa, Richmond. 
  Approximately 50 other groups such as: the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Fulan Gong, and the Bahai's were involved. The event was centrally spearheaded by the Interfaith Council of Greater Richmond (ICGR) under the theme of Family Peace Festival.
  The UPF/AFP movement is sweeping the world today. The spirit of 'living for the sake of others' is a true way to overcome egoism, ethnocentricism, racism, denominationalism, and nationalism. To reach the next level of human liberation, we must, in our age, practice the true love of God. Richmond AFPs are committed to go the distance.
