2002 –

I am providing my Himalayan geological experience to the international program "Integrated Interdisciplinary 3-D Mapping Project" (which is the application phase of the organizational and developmental work carried out under the 1991-1998 Project II-4 "3-D Mapping of the Earth's Lithosphere and Asthenosphere", International Lithosphere Program, within the Inter-Union (IUGG-IUGS) Commission on the Lithosphere. I am working directly with the last Chairman of Project II-4, Fred Schwab (Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics-UCLA), within the extended-Himalaya pilot project; my responsibility is the high-resolution, digital form of the up-to-date surface geology and shallow stratigraphy of the Nepal region."

2003 Completed a project under AEPC/HMG on Feasibility Study of Application of Geothermal Energy in 2003. This included field visits, sampling, mapping of geothermal locations in the remote districts of Mustang, Manang and Myagdi.
2003 Conducted a two weeks short course on the “Introduction to ArcView GIS” for by Softpack Consult.
2002 - I assist in the various projects that are running in the Integrated Rural Development Services (IRDS) P. Ltd., Kathmandu, Nepal. My responsibilities include conducting fieldwork, and operating GIS/CAD applications.
2002 I conducted an 8 weeks “Computer Application” training for the staff of Nepal Press Council.

This was an Asian Development Bank technical assistance (TA) to examine the water supply, surface water sources, groundwater and wastewater in the Kathmandu Valley. Worked on the groundwater part of the TA. Task performed included Mapping of wells by using Global Positioning System (GPS), field surveys for documentation of wells, measurement of aquifer levels, preparation of hydrographs and maps, etc.
