Base Training
Our Base Training Program still has two
openings! If you're interested, please contact Geordie at

This 17-week program features a mix of indoor cycling, running,
and strength and flexibility
training (SFT),
all aimed at helping you build the proper aerobic and muscular base
needed for a successful and injury-free season.
The program starts with a 45 minute ride and 1:15 minute SFT.
Over the first 9 weeks the ride slowly becomes longer and the SFT
shorter till, at the end of February, we are riding for 2 hours.
The second half of the course sees the alternation of 2 hour rides
with bike/run workouts. Some SFT is mixed in as well.
The program takes place at the beautifully equipped Florida Fitness
Club on Queen Street, on Monday nights from 7pm to 9pm. The
course began on January 10 and concludes in the first week of May.
It's never too late to join if we have space available.
Cost: Only $200 for 17 hours of training
Swim Training
The Manatees swim at the impressive new Plant Recreation Centre
on Preston St. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
The program runs from November through July. Our program is currently full.
With three wide lanes to share, there is plenty of room in the
pool as our instructors lead us through the technical and endurance
drills that will help us keep fit (not to mention shave plenty of
time off our next tri swim.)
Cost: Only $200 for 70 instructor-led swims
