Secret PlacesNext PoemHill, valley, dale or field,
Little woods or steep mountains yield
A peaceful brook with a waterfall,
A row of trees in a long, narrow hall,
Birds in flight singing sweet, soft songs,
A lush ait in a river long.
So many secrets places hold
And unless found, never, ever told.       © 8/12/1994
