Georgia Glashauser bicycled across the United States three times. The first crossing followed the southern tier route, the second crossing was on the northern tier route, and the third crossing was on the central route. Georgia rode a Lightning P-38 recumbent on the southern crossing, a Trek 2300 Women's Specific Design (WSD) on the northern crossing, and a Litespeed Ultimate on the Central Crossing. At that time the Litespeed had only a double chainring setup for 18 speeds. She has since upgraded it to a triple chainring, 27 speed setup and would like to ride it on her next coast to coast crossing.
