WET THE TURKEY
Equipment Needed:
3 - 50’ lengths of 1 1/2” hose
1 - 1 1/2” nozzle
1 - 2 1/2” to 1 1/2” wye
1 - 50’ length of 2 1/2” hose

1. The
event will begin at the sound of the judge’s whistle.
2. The
five (5) member team will be behind the starting line.
Three rolls of 1 1/2 inch hose and a nozzle will be lying on the ground
behind the starting line. Hose must
be in an approved IFSTA roll.
3. At
the sound of the judge’s whistle, the team will unroll the hose, connect the
nozzle, and connect to a 2 1/2 inch to a 1 1/2 inch gated wye located at the
starting line. Pump pressure will be set at 100 psi.
4. After
connections have been made, the line may be charged by opening the gated wye.
The nozzle man must have one foot inside a tire located 140 feet from the
gated wye before he flows the water.
5. The
nozzle man, using water from his line with one foot inside the tire, shall knock
over three (3) cones at various heights; ground level, approximately 3 feet 6
inches and 2 feet.

The event will end when the third cone is knocked over.
