Harley Quinzelle was a bright and beautiful clinical psychologist at Arkham Asylum when the Joker became one of her patients. She soon found herself obsessed with him and realized that she had many views and ideas in common with him. It didn't take long for her to fall in love with him. She soon just snapped and traded her couch and notebook for her harlequin costume and a life of crime.
Harley is probably the funnest villain in the Batman series. She is funny and lovable but can be very dangerous to Batman and his helpers. She will go to any length to please the Joker even though he treats her like dirt and is constantly using her. I personally would love to see Harley reform and join forces with Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing.
