Last night, I went to L'Aubergene, which is a bar/restaurant, packed with ex-pats and the food was pretty good. I had veal with mashed potatoes. After dinner it was off to some club, which had barely any tourists and seemed to be all locals. The place was packed and you could barely move. It was pretty good, and we ran up a nice tab at the bar. Not much selection in booze, so the drink of choice was beer (Stella Local, and Sakura). * * * I had pork for breakfast this morning. Yippee!!! I am at the Citadel and have just visited a few mosques and am now sitting at the war museum cafe. I will walk around a bit more then, I'm off to the pyramids this afternoon. <Read about my experience at the pyramids on the Postcards page> |
