How wonderful it is that Spring has arrived. This is the time of year for renewal and rebirth and that is just what is going on with Lisa. She is becoming so much more aware of her surroundings and is expressing herself with much more confidence and humor. She is a pleasure to be around and it still astounds us on how much she is improving in both physical and mental strength. She works out everyday and is walking a quarter mile with stretches both before and after. She visits the speech therapist twice a week and we can cue-in her memory with a single letter! She gets tired from all the action but, she is still in "healing mode". We thank God for that and we thank all of you for continuing to pray for her complete, and miraculous recovery!

Lisa and family had a wonderful Easter. Church was inspiring and it was a great way to start off the holiday. Lisa spent the day at her aunts dying eggs with her cousins and winning the egg hunt! At dinner as we sat around the table counting our blessings we thanked God for the miracle sitting with us. What a difference a year makes.........
We hope the message of Easter carries you through the days ahead.

Lisa is much more aware of her surroundings and says that the fog is lifting!!!!!! Five minutes doesn't go by without a question. Why am I sick? What happened to me? Why don't I feel normal? What's wrong with my foot? The questions keep coming and sometimes it's the same question. When we tell her that she knows the answer and just to give it some time to process, she usually comes up with the answer. Sometimes she answers with "I should know that" or "I know that one I just can't get it out" Lisa changes daily. It might be just a small change but they ALL add up to WOW!!!This girl and this recovery is an amazing thing to witness......
