Just a few days left of 2004. WOW the year just few by! Looking back at this past year I am astounded at how far Lisa has come. Coming home from the hospital last December Lisa got around in a wheel chair. She could not remember where she had been or understand the lapse of time. Her short term memory was about 2 minutes long. She was totally reliant on help from others to care for her and slept on an alarm tape to make sure she did not fall out of her bed or wander away. Today..she has just completes her 1st semester at Coastline College, works out at Curves 4 times a week, just redecorated her room (she moved upstairs) and is looking forward to Christmas shopping and being with family and friends during the holidays.. (she LOVES to shop) We are so grateful for all the wonderful support we have all received. We are so blessed by your prayers and encouraged by your wonderful cards and e-mails. We look forward to visiting both Mission and South Coast hospitals this holiday. What a difference their care has meant in Lisa and our lives.We thank them from the bottom of our hearts. Our prayer for 2005 is that we can put into work the wealth of experience this journey has brought and to pass that along to anyone who could benefit from it. We pray 2005 will bring to you Gods blessings for good health and that you continue to pray for those in need because prayer really does work miracles. Merry Christmas
