February, 2006

Happy 2006 to everyone.
Our Christmas season was joyous. Lisa LOVES family gatherings and we have a lot of family. She thoroughly enjoyed herself. She feels very comfortable with people she knows and loves. We are so blessed to have the most amazing people in our family! We started the New Year off in the Big Bear Mts. It was so refreshing and beautiful. No snow, but very renewing! Lisa has loved her 6-week school break. She was ready for some down time.

The new semester starts up next week and we (Bob and I) are ready for some structured time for Lisa. We are running out of ideas to keep Lisa busy and improving. Her school has the experts to help lead her in the right direction and the routine is good for her. Lisa does really well when she has a routine. The simpler, the easier it is for her to follow. It also gives her the autonomy she needs to feel good about herself.

Lisa really appreciates the e-mails and the guestbook entries. She loves hearing from all of you. Life after brain-injury can be a very lonely one. Please keep the prayers flowing in her direction. Prayer is an amazing and powerful thing!

We do have two prayer requests we would like to put out there.

One: for our good friend Ed and his family. He is in a lot of pain and dealing with health issues.

Two; Please pray for John and his family. After being hit by a car (very similar to Lisa's accident) he is in serious condition.

Please send prayers of healing for John and Ed and their families.

Thank you to all the prayers warriors out there. May God bless you richly.
Blessings.........
