Happy New Year to All! We started 2005 off in the snow-covered
mountains. We spent a week of walking in the snow, digging
out of the snow, playing lots of games and watching movies
by a roaring fire. Lisa loved the new environment and being
with family, all 18 of us in one BIG house! Lisa is on break
from school until February 1st so filling her days has been
a challenge, especially since she has been so opinionated
lately. But, between all of us we have managed to keep her
busy. Exercising is not her favorite thing to do but shopping
is. So there have been LOTS of walking trips to the mall.
Lisa's motto: (you can never have too many purses or lipsticks)
The much anticipated horse back riding has been put on hold
because of all the rain, but we are still eagerly awaiting
their call. Lisa has written out her goals for this year and
she will be a busy girl. She continues to progress daily and
is a joy to be around. Her social life has been drastically
cut and it has been very hard for her to accept and understand.
But I know that God has special plans for her in 2005 and
it will be exciting watching them unfold.
