July 2005
This is Lisa's favorite month. Her Birthday Month! We celebrated yesterday. Melissa
took her out for some "girl time" then the family took her to dinner down at the
beach. It was a fun evening and Lisa finally got to order Mexican food, her food of
choice. With her metabolism all wacky she rarely, if ever gets to indulge. We are
still seeking answers to find out why her metabolism is not working. We just have
not found the "person" who might have the answers we need. But, we work on it
everyday. Lisa fell at school last week and we spent the day (and part of the night)
in the ER to find out why her arm and leg hurt so bad. Well, after some x-rays and
a Ct scan we found out that she broke her radius bone. So it's all wrapped up and
she goes for a cast on Tuesday. She has adopted quite well with using her left arm
but her right knee is still very sore and bruised. Lisa just looks at this as God
wanting her to developed her left-handed skills and we think it just might help
the left side of her brain too! It will be a challenge to go to school on Monday
but we have some help so we are going to give it a try. Please keep her in your
prayers they said she might have to wear the cast for 4 weeks and we are leaving
for vacation to HAWAII (swim w/dophins) in 3 weeks. Should be interesting. Hope
all is well with everyone and we thank God for all your support, encouragement and
prayers.
