Lisa is making GREAT progress in all areas. She is walking so well Bob (her DAD) has her almost in a jog! She can walk around the entire track now and her RT ankle is slowly returning to it's correct position. Her short term memory is better with the help of daily reminders and pictures. She has completed her in-home therapies and is now set up for some out-patient therapies starting this week. As always we are doing some of our own therapies. Lisa is seeing a chiropractor and a cranial-sacral therapist. We work with textbooks on TIME and Organization, and have put together a memory book for her daily activities. We are looking into dolphin-therapy (anyone that knows her knows they are her favorites) with the hope that God will open those doors. Lisa continues her visits to South Coast Hospital(sub-acute) to say hello and to give "love"(Her words). She says it is something she needs to do. What God is doing is Lisa's life is amazing! The adventures ahead will be a great novel someday!

Lisa had her first night away from home this past week-end. She spent Friday and Saturday night with Melissa,Bob and their boys(her god children). She had the opportunity to see some old friends, go to the movies, play with the boys and reminisce about good times together. They laughed from morning till night and had such a good time. It was so good for her to be with her peers and be independent. She felt good about herself and that made my heart happy......

It has been one blessing after another as we have been approached by so many to share Lisa's story. We just did a video for Mission Hospital on the "families role" in critical care. What a privilege it was to share the experiences we have had this past year and a half. South Coast Hospital is also excited and is using Lisa and her story for their advertisements. They also have put more emphasis on the "role" of family caregivers in what would "seem" hopeless situations.......for they have seen with their own eyes that nothing is impossible with God! The things we have seen and learned and experienced were meant to be shared. It is our heart's desire to share Lisa's story with as many people that want to hear it. Lisa's story is a "Message of HOPE" and a wondrous Walk Of Faith for all of us....Blessings to all our faithful prayer partners...........
