Our lives remain very busy. Lisa is getting into the school
routine and really enjoys the independence and making new
friends. Her social life remains very quite and she longs
for the time be with old friends. Physically she is strong
and gets around wonderfully. Mentally she struggles with her
short-term memory, but it IS improving all the time. She is
having difficulty with her metabolism working and was just
refereed to a specialist. (Keep that in your prayers, we need
ANSWERS) Overall, she is entering into the world and it is
exciting to see! I am involved in a support group called MOM!
( Mothers of miracles). It is a group of Mothers that have
children who have acquired a brain injury. It has been such
a blessing for not only me, but it has been a wealth of references
for Lisa and emotional support too! The women and their children
are amazing and we even have are own website. You can take
a look at www.mothersofmiracles.org
We open our meetings to families who are going on the same
journey as we are. We want these families to take advantage
of the experiences we have had and benefit from the information
we have acquired. Please feel free to pass that info on to
anyone who could use it. Thank you all again for your wonderful
and faithful support. It means so much! Blessings to all!
