Canadian Culture - during the Second World War, there were many Canadian artists who drew and painted pictures of the war. Lieutenant Frank Leonard Brooks from the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve was one of the many famous artists of the time.
Women - this time, women were allowed to participate in the war effort as more than just factory workers. Women like Second Lieutenant Molly Lamb Bobak were artists as well as military officers.
