Welcome viewers,
this is an annual program that involves the 4th formers of Secondary Schools within the Caribbean. The young leaders of the Bequia S.D.A Secondary School will be using this web page to make people aware of the need to treasure the environment. With the use of poems, dialogues, pictures, etcetera the theme volunteerism: treasuring the environment, and our motto:
"NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH A WILLING HEART" will be conveyed.

The web page is designed to deal with the problems that affect our environment. Different activities would be organized around the tropic and theme. So we call upon you as inheritors of the earth to rise to the challenge, embrace the cause, and take action to create awareness of the damage and destruction to our most precious resource--the environment.

	REMARKS: This programme helps the young people of SVG and the other Caribbean Islands to develop their own opinion about doing something that can help their community and also their Country. It helps us to be more responsible, how to balance our income and our expenditure. To expose our selves in the community and various schools in my Island and helps me to develop leadership skills.
	REMARKS: As we all know the YOUNG LEADERS Programme is to help the young people in the society to the group aspects of protecting and treasuring the environment. I think that this programme was a very good addition to our school experience, because over the past years I am sure that the young people all around the Caribbean have benefited in one way or another. As a member of the present YOUNG LEADERS GROUP I would like for us all to put our hands together and help in protecting the environment we live in.
	REMARKS: My view of the YOUNG LEADERS is a very good one. I think that this exercise is an interesting one, it helps to keep the young people in the society out of trouble out of crime. It also expands our creativity level and helps us to become more responsible and co-operative. As we get further in this project I' m finding out new ways and means of how to clean up our environment and how to preserve it as well. This programme also helps me to be conservative and independent. I hope this programme continues for many more years, and may each individual take the responsibility of keeping the environment clean, very seriously.
	REMARKS: I think the YOUNG LEADERS PROGRAMME is a good organization, it keeps the young people out of trouble and away from violence. It teaches the youths to be good leaders of today and also for the future. It also teaches them how to manage money, to co-operate and to appreciate their environment. As PRO of the BEQUIA SDA SECONDARY SCHOOL I'm expected to announce programmes, and presentations . I also have to make sure things are organized and plans are followed through.
	REMARKS: Being part of the Young Leaders programme in Form 4 2000-2001, it has helped me to be more aware of what is happening around me. For example the problem existing with the Ozone layer and global warming that is affecting us today. In an effort to save the earth from these problems PLEASE LET US WORK TOGETHER to TREASURE OUR ENVIRONMENT. As The Secretary of the group I must always keep record of the groups' activities and keep the members up to date on what is happening.
	REMARKS: I think the YOUNG LEADERS helps me as well as other youths to be responsible and creative in most aspects . The programme is very interesting and challenging . I'm sure that during and after this programme, I' ll gain self respect . As the days go by I learn something new every day, I'm also becoming more aware of things that is going on around me, whether it's in my environment or in the world at large.
	REMARKS: The YOUNG LEADERS PROGRAMME is very educational . As a young person growing up in this society today, this programme gives me the recquired leadership skills which is important in my future development. As PRO in the group I'm recquired to present public speeches and to advertise the development of the BEQUIA SDA SECDONDARY SCHOOL.
