Max Power: Nuclear  Strike

Max Power, one of the best S.I.S agent in Canada was called down to the board of operations office to discuss mission Falcon.
“We have just intercepted a terrorist message from a boat in the middle of the Atlantic ocean.  They say if we don’t give them 36.5 million dollars and immunity they will blow up Chicago.  We want you to sneak aboard the boat and disarm the nukes before they launch them”, the sergeant siad.
“Yes sir, I won’t let you or Chicago down.”  Max said with  proudness.
“You better not because the whole town is counting on you.  Oh, and by the way, Mission Falcon begins at 23:00 hours.  Dismissed!” the Sargent ordered.
Later that night at 11:30 Max was already on his way to the drop point.
“O.K. Max we’re right above the drop point, time to fly.”, said the Segearnt.
“See you in 2 hours, Sarge.”  Max said as he jumped from the helicopter.Ten minutes later he was on the boat and he had already knocked out about four or five men.  He walked around trying to find a way in.  After a couple of minutes, he finally found a hidden door that led to the front of the ship.  As he walked around the ship looking for the door to the artillery room, Max ran into tons of terrorists who took him captive and knocked him out.  When Max woke up, he found himself unarmed and hanging from a pipe in the armoury room.
“So we finally meet, Max Power!  It’s such an honour to meet the person that foiled my brother’s plans.  I’m glad you came, you get to see me blow up Chicago.”, said Snake. Snake was a big, strong man with blond hiar and a tatoo of a snake on his arm.
“Shut-up.”, mumbled Max.
“Oh, someone has a mouth on him.  Maybe I should teach you a lesson, huh?”, said Snake.  Wack!!!!!  Max turned his head in pain as Snake’s hand hit his face.  “Do you still think you’re smart, huh?”
Before Snake could hit Max again, he whipped his legs up and wrapped them around Snake’s head with a slight twist of his legs.  Snake fell to the floor.  With only 10 seconds left until launch, Max untied himself and started trying to disarm them.  The time had hit 5 seconds and Max had only disarmed one nuke and was starting on the second.  Just before the time ended Max finished disarming one more nuke but couldn’t disarm the last two.  The two nukes lit up the sky like fireworks.  Max ran to the control panel and started entering the code to change the course of the bomb.  Three minutes before the nukes hit Chicago, Max changed the course so that they would explode under water.
Max waited for the Sergeant to pick him up.  The helicopter came half an hour later.   They arrived at base.  Max slowly walked his way to the board of operations office to talk with his Sargeant.
“You did great today.  If it wasn’t for you Chicago would be gone.  Now go home and have a good night’s sleep.  You look tired.  Oh ya, you will also have a ceremony tomorrow.  Hope you come!” the sergeant said proudly!
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world”, said Max with obvious sarcasm dripping from his mouth.
The next day Max arrived at the party.  Lots of people were in the backyard.  Balloons were everywhere.  In the middle of the yard was a podium.  Obviously awards were going to be given out and speeches would be made.  Max walked up to one of the soldiers.
“Hey Max, how are ya?”
“I’m feeling a little sore.”
“And now the hero of the day, Max Power.” A voice called from the podium.
The crowd cheered as Max made his way to the podium to collect his Medal of Bravery and a plaque with his name on it.
The crowd  screemed “speech speech”  as Max collected  his metal and plaque.
Three years later Max is still in the S.I.S. and we all still remember the hero he is.
