St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day...patron holiday of the Irish. It is rumored that Saint Patrick rid Ireland of the snake (and a few other things - like he stopped Nessie of Loch Ness fromm eating people). Saint Patrick also brought Christianity to Ireland, and helped people whenever he could.

The Irish people celebrate St Patrick's Day with dancing, singing, and partying. There is green beer everywhere, and everyone wears something green. It is a day of merriment and laughter.
