.: Schools I Attended :.

If you know of any teachers names or if I've spelt their names incorrectly, please E-Mail Me

1980:

I attended Palmyra Pre-Primary, located opposite the main primary school. One teacher I can remember is Mrs Hodgkin.

1981 - June 1986:

I went to Our Lady of Fatima in Palmyra. Leaving half way through year 6 to live in Kwinana. I was extremely sad for leaving my friends at O.L.F : (

Year 1: Mrs Norrish She left that year, as she was having a baby.

Year 2: Mrs Stokoe

Year 3: Sister Bernhard later became Sister Veronica... Oh My God, she was horrible, Definitely one of those old school nuns! Geepers she picked on me. Due to stress from that old hag, I ended up having asthma.

Year 4: Mrs Hors

Year 5: Mr Boyle

Year 6: Miss Regan

Principles: Mr Tom Roberts and then Mr Giglia

July 1986 - 1987:

I moved on to Saint Vincent's Primary in Medina. It was a culture shock, as the school and the people were different from my old pals at O.L.F. I think what was worse, was going from a nice blue uniform to yellow and the yuckiest green I've ever laid my eyes on! LOL. My year 6 teacher was Mrs (something beginning with a B) LOL... Who could forget Miss Paulik. Thinking back now, I question her sexuality LOL! Geepers she hell picked on me, and no she wasn't one of my favourite teachers LOL! Even though she told me I should pursue a career in acting... LOL!

Principle: Mr (Something) LOL

1988- 1991:

Luckily for me Kolbe College wasn't operational in 88, otherwise I would've been subjected to another catholic school... LOL. So I went to Kwinana High instead. (I suppose best out of the 2 evils) LOL. Even though my choice was John Curtin which is where I would've met Ape earlier, as he went to school there. But as fate would have it, I didn't go to J.C like my other siblings did before me.

Mrs Zuvela was a great Math's teacher, tho in year 9 I had the misfortune to have Mrs Debiri for math's. Geepers I couldn't understand her English! LOL My Mum said at the time, well it's lucky she isn't teaching English! LOL.

Mrs Harris was a tremendous English teacher, and so was Mr Mathis, I had him in year 11 and he made English fun. After he left during the year, I ended up with a female teacher, and I didn't like her that much... LOL.

I was unfortunate to have Mr Hope for Social Studies... Oh My God, he's a wanker! LOL... He gave me rubbish duty and I never did it. LOL! Mrs Johnston was also a less desirable teacher, who could ever forget her walking around the class 'sniffing' people for ciggy smell... LOL... Looking back now, I reckon she had some weird fetish... LOL... Don't dare look at your fingers when you're typing! LOL! She'd be so proud of me now. I can do it without looking!!! LOL. I was also unfortunate to have her for Year 11 Law.

I left Kwinana High in November of 91, as I was having my tonsils out... LOL. 16 years old and having my tonsils out! No Ice Cream neither! LOL... So I didn't get to finish year 11. Oh well. I did think about going back, but weighing up the pros and cons... I didn't want too.

Other teachers I had:

Mr Grantham (PE), Miss Fee (PE) (Miss Gappy! lol), Mr Fielding (Form Teacher & Manual Arts), Miss Bowden (Home Ec), Mr Branch (Social Studiess), Mrs McLernon (Child Development), Miss Palmer (Health Ed), Mrs Maloney (Home Ec), Mr Bond (Business), Mr Krajowski (Social Studies), Mr Svendson (Science). I've actually found some of my old high school reports! Amazing! They are going a little yellow and looking back I could've done a bit better... "I'm older and wiser now!" lol. I couldn't tell you off hand who the principle was LOL... Though a deputy does stick out in my mind... The reason is cos she called me a street fighter! LOL! Funny I can't remember her name lol.

So I've had good and bad times in my school years, but doesn't everyone. There's always the bully that won't amount to much, or the girls who think they are above everyone else and those guys who think they are gods gift. They say "School Days are the Best" I beg to differ at times. Would you want to go through it again? Both of my sons are at school, and because I've moved around a few times, I've experienced even more crap. There are too many bullies these days. The schools don't do much about it, but that's not who I blame. Obiviously it's the parents. What's happened to manners and treating others how they would like to be treated. Heaven help me, cos my eldest is attending high school... As a Mum you can only hope they do better at school than you did, and not to go off the rails... But I'm not that naive...
