Back to Heaven Diary Index

I went to another Scout camp today. This camp isn't modern like the last one I was at. The other one was great for rest, but I got sick of the modernity. This one is almost...Amish. It's close to an Amish community, but I still have some bare technological essentials that make it worthwhile. I then took a flight, using my thoughts, to get back to the modern camp. The council ring had changed. Instead of having hard wooden benches, boards, it had La-Z-Boy recliners and sofas and couches. But the center area was still gravel. The beds in the leader's cabins were also transformed, containing the most comfortable bunk beds I've ever slept in, instead of the uncomfortable plywood they had back on earth. I think I'll climb into one of them and decide which camp I like better.
