MS disables the high-definition video output on the PAL version Xbox(only sold in Europe, Australia, NZ, Hong Kong etc.), so it cannot work normally with the X2VGA. However, the Xbox consoles sold in North America, Japan, etc. which belong to the NTSC version, will work fine with X2VGA. Please take note of this in advance. I bought a vga convertor a while ago so I could hook up my Xbox, Nintendo, Dreamcast, and 64, but it looked like complete crap. Thumbs ?. It was because it was converting composite video to vga. It will never look good. You have to get something that converts directly from the xbox source to vga or component to vga and use the xbox high def pack (but even this way I have heard people have fuzzyness and a jumpy picture)
