sometimes, i'll sit and stress...

over this feeling i must hide

though deep inside it longs to shine

on the surface, it must rest...

i don't want to lose a friend...

over something like how i feel

though temptation makes me long to be...

but somehow i don't believe those feelings are there...

well, dreams can't hurt and even though they're not real...

i can still make believe your mine

and we're together for all time

and that true love is what you feel...

but reality strikes and i must go on...
