Background: Syxx was created in the popular Biotechnica 10-V systems analysis series and was promptly shipped off to monitor Event Horizons' lunar memox crystal production site. The 10-V's are the highest human DNA rated replicants ever produced, pushing to the edge of the Swedish Humanity Act's 99.5% human DNA minimum to qualify as a citizen of Earth with full rights. Equipped with his own internal mini-Matrix as a result of fully-integrated wetware technology only possible with replicants, Syxx found himself with more than enough brainpower left over to contemplate his position in life, eventually coming to the conclusion that no matter how many times he was told that his emotional responses were merely sophisticated programs designed to help him relate to humans, his feelings of loneliness and isolation were valid. The daring young replicant decided to make an escape from the drudgery of running EH's lunar operation and using his incredible interface abilities snuck down to EArth, where it was rumored that there was an anti-virus available that would keep him from system failure if he entered the Earth Matrix. He stumbled upon the Mad Hatter's safehouse in the Combat Zone of Night City, and for his safety and theirs was sent on to Sierra Survival. Dr. Torrey O'Neal immediately recognized in Syxx human qualities which, whether programmed or not, made the biogenetisist determined to help him. He chose Johnny, a master netrunner, to help Syxx not only find the anti-virus, but to help him learn to fit in with humans as well. At first skeptical of the quiet and somewhat odd Syxx, Johnny has come to think of him as a younger brother, and is very protective of his fragile emotions and childlike curiosity. In return for friendship and the cure for the lock-out virus, Syxx has become for Johnny a means of reentering the Matrix without fear of the hellhounds sent after him by MTI, since Johnny can now jack in through Syxx and use his interface to disguise his bio patterns. Because of the fully-integrated wetware that Syxx has, he appears in the Matrix not as a user, but as a daemon program. This allows Johnny and Syxx to slip past most security, and with Syxx's incredible storage capacity and download rate, the two are a dangerous combination. Syxx is currently living at Sierra Survival, rooming with Breck.

Personality Profile: Syxx is shy and extremely nervous about people, never sure who he can trust with his identity because of his illegal status. He has the normal curiosity of any 8 year old, even though he appears to be an adult.
