All ready to see Atlantis We WON!

The Scout Assn. Combined with Walt Disney Productions to produce a series of activities based on the new movie Atlantis - The Lost Empire. Split into groups, the cubs enthusiastically set about completing the four challenges.

Patience and artistic talent were the skills required for decoding and writing sentences in the Atlanten Alphabet. Imagination played an important part when inventing a vehicle to be used at Atlantis. Our cubs had heir vehicle powered by lava and it incorporated a shrinker. Designing a map from the scout hall to Atlantis resulted in a brilliant cassette recording of the dangers encountered along the way. The final challenge was to devise an activity incorparting some sort of caving. Our team created caves of sticks, Jaws of Life, a water cave plus may more. All four challenges were compiled into a Journal and sent to Sydney for judging.
