It is my Wide field eyepiece, on my 12" scope I get a magnification 87 and 46' actual field. It is a comfortable eyepiece you can get the all field on your eyes , it has fair Eye relief and as on the most wide field eyepieces it  has something like coma distortion  (pincushion) on the edge of field it is nothing serious to wary about you see your eyes concentrates usually in the center of field and the edges are just  passable . If you need a 2" wide field eyepiece with a fair overall performance this eyepiece is for you.

TeleVue 22mm Nagler type 4 :

It is my deep sky eyepiece, on my scope I get a magnification 138 and 35' actual field. I was wondering when I ordered this eyepiece if it worth for the money . I can say that this a really very good eyepiece . It give me sharp bright and contrast images  even in the edge of field. It is amazing me the fact that it has very minor pincushion distortion on the edge of field. I use it and  I enjoy it very match and if you can pay the extra cost I thing it is worth for the money.

TeleVue 12mm Nagler type 4 :

Barrel              :  2" & 1.25"

Weight             : 1.1 lb

Length             :  12mm

Eye relief        :  17mm

Apparent field :  82 deg

Elements          :  6

Field stop D     :  17.1mm

This eyepiece on my scope give me a magnification 254 and 19' actual field.

I check it side by side with the 12mm nagler type 2 which it replace and I notice slight better performance in all topics . I use it in some planetary nebulas in globular star clusters and on planets. It is fair good eyepiece without any thing to excite you like the 22mm above.

Celestron ultima 30mm : Actually this is an equivalent to meade Super plosle series. I had this eyepiece for a long time and always I enjoyed it has a comfortable eye relief 21mm  50 deg Apparent field. Very nice contrast  and bright sharp image very well built and overall this eyepiece it is sure worth for the money it cost about $100.

Celestron Ultima 26 mm: A litle bit lower impressions than the 30mm.

Meade Series 4000 Super Possls

26mm ,15mm ,9.7mm all these are 52 degree apparent field and are quite good eyepieces , the best is the 26mm and it is that Meade ship with almost all meade telescope it is very fine almost as the 30mm Ultima is .Next come the 15mm and last the 9.7mm one. I will give to all fair good for the money.

Orion Lanthunum 7.5mm :

Orion say that eyepiece is made in Japan , it has very good eye relief 20mm and 50deg apparent field. One of the lens elements is made from Lanthanum. The magnification I get with this eyepiece is 406 an I bought it just for planetary observing in very good conditions  and also to split some challenge doubles . I didn't test yet so match , seems to be very good but more details on this later...
