Photograph Information: This is the Southern part of the milky way as it seen in the summer on the Northern Hemisphere. The lower part of the photo is a dusty region points towards to the galactic center and it is associated with the brighter and better-known Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae which are the two nearby lighted area in the lower right middle of this photo (overexposed). The area worth random scanning with binoculars or low power scopes while easy you can find a lots of rich star fields , and a numerous star clusters and nebulae. |
