Saturday - May 13, 2000
After dinner we went outside to play. We walked down through the horse pasture to the swinging bridge over the Harpeth River.

This is a pretty cool bridge and the river below is very scenic. The adventure ropes courses are on the other side of the river.

After it got dark it was time for our sing-a-long at the campfire. Each troop took turns leading all the girls in a song. Our troop was one of the last ones to get a chance to lead everyone in a song. We had a hard time deciding on a song; it seems like every one we had picked had already been sung by another troop.

The littlest Scouts got to make S'mores first. Then, when they were done, the older girls got to toast marshmallows and make S'mores. We ate them all up, too. They were good.

These are just some more photos of us making S'mores and singing around the campfire. After we got done here, we all went up the hill and got ready for bed. It had been a long day and there was no complaining tonight about bedtime.
