My life, mein Leben, mi vida... What is to tell about it? Am I important enough to justify this page? Okay, I could not write my memoirs yet, but a few things happened that are not quite normal.

For instance, I started studying towards my BBA at the University of Augsburg in Bavaria, Germany, at the advanced age of 31. Okay, to be honest, I could start in the middle, because I transferred a lot of undergraduate work from the FernUniversität Hagen (Germany's leading distance learning institution of higher education). By the way, this is one of my recommendations for anybody who is working and interested in achieving a degree at the same time. After getting my degree as Diplomkaufmann (Univ.) I decided to also get my Master of Business Administration degree at El Paso, Texas.

After that was done, I wanted to start working. And so I did, but in a very different field: I became an author for Computer Based Training at the German Air Force Air Defense School at Ft. Bliss, Texas.

In this position I am responsible for the creation of interactive training lessons that students can later work on at their own pace. This includes setting up the concept of the lesson (in coordination with an advisor who is fluent in the respective topic) as well as programming the content (including real-time simulations) utilizing the authoring tool TenCORE. Furthermore, I create all the necessary audio-visual aids and 3d-animations. Sounds interesting? You bet it is, and it is a lot of fun, too!
