an ode to no one/pictures/

April 2002, me and Kat got asked to participate in the making of a mural. We we're also supposed to do something along the lines of what George Littlechild does, with the border and the pictures. The bottom half sucks, because we were not finished it before the due date, you know. It took two months. Yes, yes, it looks better in real life, trust me. Doing this project made me realise how much I love painting. I'm not usually good at it, and I don't paint like my sister does, but it was very inspiring to have the art teacher call me a loser for not taking it sooner! haha.
We got a inspired by Greek Mythology. Even though the purpose of painting the mural (There were 6 murals in all) was to show the diversity of culture at our then school.

This is an old house in Vancouver that my mom lived in. I found it while going through old pictures.

Clouds

I took these pictures after there had been a storm in the middle of July. I just thought they were gish so I put them here. I guess these clouds are called "mammatus" clouds and they usually show up before/after severe weather. In this case it was right after and the weather wasn't even severe!

Aren't these pretty? I forget when I took them because I'm not as lucky as those who have digital cameras. I took these (and all the pictures I've taken) on a disposable camera awhile ago. It was (obviously) before the snow started falling.

Sensitive. Manic fan art! How incredibly cheesy! I'm too lazy to make a thumbnail. Here is a Richey photocopied picture glued on a canvas which I painted.
