General Notes: The date of death of Ernest Willaims is twenty-two years later than the 'estimated' date given by family members. It is not certain that Ernest Williams found in the Social Security Death Index is the father of John Allen Williams (aka John Allen Muhammad). John Allen Williams and his older siblings were very young when their mother died and they were taken by relatives to Baton Rouge. When their father 'abadoned' them, and no further contact was had, it may have been assumed that he was deceased.

Additional information has been requested from Social Security Administration and a search for an obituary of Ernest Williams has been intitiated.

On his 1930 marriage license, Ernest Williams names his parents as Robert and Alberta Williams. On his 1932 marriage license, Ernest names his parents as Cornelius and Alberta Williams ^5,6,7

If her age was given correctly on the birth certificate of John Allen Williams (aka John Allen Muhammad) she was born about 1921 in Louisiana. Myrtis has not been identified in the 1930 census.
