SOURCE CODE METRICS TOOL FOR C / C++  


Designed & developed a 'CASE Tool' for ELECTRONICS & RADAR DEVELOPMENT ESTABLISHMENT ( D.R.D.O Ministry of Defence Govt of INDIA ), BANGALORE.

  • Carried out a detailed requirements analysis and studied various software metrics.
  • Desggned and implemented a lexical analyzer (Scanner) that could suit the requirement.
  • Designed algorithms to compute various software complexities and metrics, and implemented them in C.
  • Direct import of static analysis summaries into spreadsheet and database packages.
  • A formal software development approach (IEEE conventions and standards) was followed throughout the development process.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ESTIMATION

This project gives the Project Manager the ability to manage his staff and also monitor on the project at any given time and do an estimation of cost and time for the projects using the Constructive Cost Model(COCOMO).

  • An RDBMS project using Oracle 8 as backend and Developer 2000 as front end.
  •  Basic adminstration facility and easy to use graphical user interface.
  • Capability of producing estimates for any given project using the Constructive Cost Model.
  • Reports generation using Oracle Reports 6i.

A Two Dimensional graphics package with several features which include all the clipping and transformation operations

  • Implemented all basic transformation operations like rotation, translation and scaling.
  • Exposure to graphics programming in C.
