Plot:Millennium Eve is here and it promises to be the biggest night of the year. All CID officers are seconded to uniform for the night, resulting in Danny having to try to stuff his afro into a helmet! Hijinks throughout the night occur as the extended relief must deal with stolen fireworks, drunk and disorderly, stolen goods, traffic accidents and a fire at a block of flats. Watch For:Jaack and Derek's unsuccessful attempts to obtain a drink; Matt unsuccessfully trying to have a liaison with the ever present Munroe around; DS Boulton paired with Reg and later being blown up by a firework, not to mention the joy of just seeing CID in uniform. The Bottom Line:In the new years special and the last The Bill episode of the millennium watch for fun and games in a fun filled romp that staggeringly features the entire cast with the exception of PC Carver. Light hearted seasonal fluff, but worthy of your attention. |
