I have gotten a dvd player for a gift. I know movies are out and a lot. But I'm thinking about the television and the shows in it. Does anyone help me? I want to be knowing if these shows on the television are on dvd. And where can I buy them. For how much money?Bj and the Bear Grizly Adam Sherif Lobo The Great American Hero Wait until your Father gets home (This was a animated cartoon and when I was little.) Happy Days (with the Fonzie.) I can't find this on ebay. Please help.

I find it highly unlikely you'll be able to find any of those shows on DVD, Barky.

Yes, but I think all copies of BJ and the Bear, Sheriff Lobo, and Grizzly Adams have been destroyed in the name of good taste. You might be able to get Happy Days soon though.

It was funny for a while, but it's so obvious that you're writing like that on purpose. Just give it up!!

I actually miss JeffK at times like this. At least he took his craft seriously...------------------ "If we are to go only half way, or reduce our sights in the face of difficulty, in my judgement it would be better not to go at all." —President Kennedy, 1961

The main problem with the 1970's TV programs you mentioned is that they probably only exist on analog tape, which would look like complete and utter shit if transfered directly to DVD. The studios would need to go back to the original film and sound elements (if they even still exist) and digitally remaster them. The expense and limited market for some of this stuff more or less guarantees that it will never happen. Stinky

I haven't seen the MASH DVD's, but I would assume that the studio went back to the original camera negatives and sound stems as Paramount did for the TOS discs. Stinky

I think maybe the stars of my shows would keep films for to be worked on to make Dvd's. Could that be possible? Then they can be fixed for Dvd's. I would pay more for some of these shows. I would pay more for Grizly Adams but not Happy Days.

I bought my TV Guide at a store. There is an ad for buying TV shows and some are being on dvd. They have Perry Mason, A Team, and Hogan Heros. They are older than Grisly Adam and Bj and the Bear why can they be selling on DVD but no for BJ and the Bear and the others I said about.
