THE FRAME
The frame is a kit which we purchased from A.M. Leonard in Ohio. We chose a 12' x 36' quonset style. The kit comes with all the hardware needed to set up the frame. The instruction list is very easy to understand and the basic frame can be setup by two people in an afternoon. In addition to the kit we needed to purchase lumber to finish the frane setup. Along the bottom of the house we installed a 2" x 10" preasure treated base board and on both ends we built a 2" x 4" stud wall covered with plywood. The south end we framed in a door made out of 2" x 4" and plywood. On the north end we installed a ventilation fan. The frame was covered with two layers of poly with a blower fan hooked up to create an air bubble for insulation. The kit came with one purlin which is a long pipe that runs the length of the green house to keep it ridged and we added two more one on either side to give extra support.

This is one of the benches. It is constructed of 2" x 4" frame with hardware cloth on the top. The lower shelf is 1" x 3" spaced 6" on center. A 1" x 2" runs around the top to prevent pots & trays from sliding off.

The frame for the front and back walls was constructed of 2"x 4" studs that were covered with plywood. After the walls were put up they were insulated with the same 1" styrofoam used on the floors.
