Granger's ConclusionWe, The Starters, have some concluding remarks, including some observations we think may assist to clarify what has been written by The Auroral People. I see no reason why anyone, having just read this book, believing it or not, could possibly have any fears of bad influence from these personalities. But many in the earth enjoy having things to fear I can only reassure you of the good spirit and harmony of these personalities. Would to God that your companions in the physical earth were all of equally high mind and purpose. The concept of other personalities being present and directly relating to the earth's environment will be of concern to some people. We believe, however, there is a growing number of intelligent people in the earth today who, by simple extrapolation of the nature and elements of complexity of the universe, suspect and can tolerate the idea without difficulty. Others will not be able to accept the material, but will leave with an open mind. We are aware of the problems associated with attempting the comprehension of the concepts presented here. We can only state that the material is well founded. The fact that it can be published speaks for something in today's society. You will receive criticism today, you may rest assured of that; however, being of a nature that does not bleed easily, and carries scars well, we think you will run (or ignore) the gauntlet of criticism without difficulty. (Granger) Do not regard the death of the physical body as any great tragedy. Believe when we reassure you that there is much more life and reality on this side of the quiet door than on that of the physical. Having lived well on both sides, I want to give any who are in doubt my reassurance that physical death is more of the nature of an open door than a closed pit. Do not live a life in fear of physical death. Live your life in a style and with a purpose that is suited to an everlasting continuity. There is a sadness to the reality observed in those who arrive here, following a long life on earth, with nothing more than rags for material to start this life. If you can assist another without trying to control his or her mind, by all means do so. That which you give with ease out of a free mind and an open hand is the very essence of what you will bring with you. You cannot give freely without receiving the reward of the spirit. The reader interested in this material should note in particular the continuity and community of life in its varied aspects. Do not assume that human life, as known in the earth, is the all in all. There is a need to comprehend and get a vision or viewpoint of the universal and complex nature of life and awareness. You may rest assured of the reality of all personalities presented in this book. They are as real, believe me, as the nails that once went into my coffin. I do not want to alarm you. Rather, it is my heart's desire to reassure you. You have nothing to fear, either in life or in death. There is no death, and life, on both sides, is as you make it. In this writing, we would like to think we have taken some of the sting, and some of the futility out of this idea of death. We hope you can accept the idea of death as that of an ongoing journey for which you need to prepare yourself in the best ways you can. Do not leave things up to fate; there is no fate. Do not leave things up to God. He has placed the responsibility in your hands, with the gift of a free mind, having the right to choose: shall I make the effort to develop, or shall I decline to a later time? We suggest you make some effort now. Explore with the mind; look around you and see what you can learn. Above all, keep an open and aware mind. Do not be afraid to make the thrust into life. Choose your pathway and then follow it with a light heart and an easy step. Each step leads in an easy way to the one that follows. |
